Families of students attending EIEP classes at leased sites are invited to attend a Family Day celebration during the last week of classes where they will:
- share in their child’s accomplishments
- learn how to access community resources, e.g. clinics, libraries, etc.
- develop strategies for providing academic support for their child at home
- identify emotional issues that may effect learning and develop strategies for dealing with them
- be given information about health and nutrition
